In Monday's league contest, the Morse Shipbuilders (Bath, ME) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Lincoln Academy Eagles (Newcastle, ME), by a margin of 6-1.

With the triumph, Morse moves its record to 8-3 on the year. The Shipbuilders travel to Erskine Academy (South China, ME) to play the Eagles in a Class B South contest on Friday, May 19. The Eagles come into the contest with a record of 1-11. Erskine Academy lost 16-5 in their recent league contest against Medomak Valley (Waldoboro, ME)

In their next game, the Eagles play the Belfast Lions (Belfast, ME) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, May 17. Lincoln Academy will attempt to move on its 2-7 season record. The Lions come into the game with a 6-5 record after their 9-0 league loss to Lawrence (Fairfield, ME).
