The crowd at Monday's non-league match between the Lockport Porters (Lockport, IL) and the visiting Munster Mustangs (Munster, IN), saw Lockport's softball squad nip Munster by a count of 7-6.

The Porters now sport a 23-6 record. They take the field next when they host Joliet Catholic for a non-league match on Wednesday, May 17. Lockport will face a Hilltoppers squad coming off a 7-2 non-league loss to Carmel (Mundelein, IL). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 20-9.

With the loss, Munster falls to 14-15 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Boone Grove (Valparaiso, IN) to face the Wolves in a non-league match on Wednesday, May 17. The Wolves enter the match with a record of 14-5. Boone Grove won 12-1 in their recent non-league match against Valparaiso (Valparaiso, IN)
