New York High School Softball - Northern Adirondack bounces Moriah

The Northern Adirondack Bobcats routed the host Moriah Vikings softball squad by a count of 16-0 in Monday's league battle.

The Bobcats (6-6) will now prepare for their battle against Peru (Peru, NY). The Nighthawks go into the Section 7 Champlain Valley I battle with a 9-5 record. In their last battle, Peru was routed by Plattsburgh (Plattsburgh, NY), 7-2, in a league battle.

The Vikings now sport a 1-11 record. They play next when they host Saranac Lake for a Section 7 Champlain Valley I battle on Tuesday, May 16. Moriah will meet a Red Storm squad coming off a 5-3 league win over Northern Adirondack (Ellenburg Depot, NY). The Red Storm record now stands at 8-4.
