New York High School Softball - Mynderse Academy bounces Newark

The crowd at Monday's league match between the Mynderse Academy Blue Devils (Seneca Falls, NY) and the host Newark Reds (Newark, NY), saw Mynderse Academy's softball squad achieve victory over Newark by a count of 10-2.

The Blue Devils now sport a 7-6 record. They take the field next when they host Penn Yan Academy for a Finger Lakes East match on Tuesday, May 16. Mynderse Academy will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 11-0 league win over Palmyra-Macedon (Palmyra, NY). The Mustangs record now stands at 9-5.

With the loss, Newark falls to 5-12 on the campaign. The Reds travel to Geneva (Geneva, NY) to face the Panthers in a Finger Lakes East match on Wednesday, May 17. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 1-18. Geneva lost 8-6 in their recent non-league match against North Rose-Wolcott (Wolcott, NY)
