In Monday's league challenge, the host New Holstein Huskies softball squad scored a good 8-0 win over the Two Rivers Purple Raiders.

The Huskies now own a 21-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Luxemburg-Casco for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 16. New Holstein will battle a Spartans squad coming off a 5-1 league win over Waupaca (Waupaca, WI). The Spartans record now stands at 13-1.

With the loss, Two Rivers falls to 7-13 on the campaign. The Purple raiders travel to Brillion (Brillion, WI) to battle the Lions in a Eastern Wisconsin challenge on Tuesday, May 16. The Lions enter the challenge with a record of 11-9. Brillion won 14-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Manitowoc Lutheran (Manitowoc, WI)
