North Yarmouth Academy Panthers (Yarmouth, ME) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Traip Rangers (Kittery, ME), 15-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers now sport a 8-0 record. They take the field next when they host Richmond for a Class D South challenge on Tuesday, May 16.

With the loss, Traip falls to 0-10 on the campaign. The Rangers host York (York, ME) to face the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 17. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 10-1. York won 8-1 in their recent league challenge against Gray-New Gloucester (Gray, ME)
