Maine High School Softball - Piscataquis loses to Penobscot Valley

The Penobscot Valley Howlers softball team scored 26 runs and limited the host Piscataquis Pirates to 0 in the Howlers non-league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, Penobscot Valley improves its record to 8-0 on the year. The Howlers host Jonesport-Beals (Jonesport, ME) to clash with the Royals in a Class D North game on Tuesday, May 23. The Royals come into the game with a record of 3-5.
In their next game, the Pirates clash with the Central Red Devils (East Corinth, ME) in a Class C North game, on Thursday, May 18. Piscataquis will attempt to improve on its 0-10 season record. The Red Devils come into the game with a 2-8 record after their 20-2 league loss to Mattanawcook (Lincoln, ME).
