Spectators at Wednesday's league battle between the Yarmouth Clippers (Yarmouth, ME) and the visiting Greely Rangers (Cumberland Center, ME), saw Yarmouth's baseball squad edge Greely by a count of 2-1.

Coming up next, the Clippers play the Gray-New Gloucester Patriots (Gray, ME) in a Class B South battle, on Thursday, May 16. Yarmouth will attempt to move on its 8-1 season record. The Patriots enter the battle with a 2-8 record after their 15-9 league loss to York (York, ME).

The Rangers now possess a 10-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Freeport for a Class B South battle on Friday, May 17. Greely will play a Falcons squad coming off a 6-2 league loss to Fryeburg (Fryeburg, ME). The Falcons record now stands at 4-4.
