The Hastings Raiders baseball team scored 4 runs and limited the host St. Thomas Academy Cadets to 2 in the Raiders league victory on Wednesday.

The Raiders (14-4) will now prepare for their match against Hill-Murray (Maplewood, MN). The Pioneers go into the Classic Suburban match with a 9-7 record. In their last match, Hill-Murray tipped South St. Paul (South St. Paul, MN), 5-2, in a league match.

With the defeat, St. Thomas Academy falls to 8-10 on the season. The Cadets host Two Rivers (Mendota Heights, MN) to encounter the Warriors in a Classic Suburban challenge on Friday, May 17. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 14-3. Two Rivers won 13-0 in their recent league challenge against Tartan (Oakdale, MN)
