Owsley County Owls / Lady Owls (Booneville, KY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Menifee County Wildcats (Frenchburg, KY), 12-10 in a non-league test.

With the win, Owsley County upgrades its record to 7-15 on the season. The Owls / Lady Owls travel to Powell County (Stanton, KY) to battle the Pirates in a District 56 test on Saturday, May 18. The Pirates come into the test with a record of 22-8.

With the defeat, Menifee County falls to 3-19 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Rowan County (Morehead, KY) to battle the Vikings in a non-league test on Monday, May 20. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 26-7. Rowan County won 10-1 in their recent non-league test against Breathitt County (Jackson, KY)
