The Cranston East Thunderbolts (Cranston, RI) volleyball overcame the visiting Classical Purple (Providence, RI), 3-0 in Wednesday's league outing.
With the win, Cranston East upgrades its record to 13-4 on the year. The Thunderbolts travel to Coventry (Coventry, RI) to face the Oakers in a Division 1 (State) outing on Monday, May 20. The Oakers go into the outing with a record of 0-15. Coventry lost 3-2 in their recent league outing against South Kingstown (Wakefield, RI)
The Purple now own a 10-6 record. They play next when they host La Salle Academy for a Division 1 (State) outing on Tuesday, May 21. Classical will face a Rams squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to North Kingstown (North Kingstown, RI). The Rams record now stands at 12-5.
