Rockford Rams (Rockford, MI) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad edge the visiting Spring Lake Lakers (Spring Lake, MI), 10-9 in a non-league test.
The Rams now have a 9-7 record. They take the field next when they host Hudsonville for a non-league test on Tuesday, May 21. Rockford will face a Eagles squad coming off a 9-2 non-league win over West Ottawa (Holland, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 12-6.
In their next game, the Lakers face the Caledonia Fighting Scots (Caledonia, MI) in a non-league test, on Friday, May 17. Spring Lake will attempt to move on its 7-8 season record. The Fighting Scots come into the test with a 11-4 record after their 17-6 league loss to East Grand Rapids (Grand Rapids, MI).
