Dedham Marauders (Dedham, MA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Bellingham Blackhawks (Bellingham, MA), 7-2 in a league challenge.

The Marauders now own a 10-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Holliston for a Tri-Valley challenge on Thursday, May 16. Dedham will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 5-1 league loss to Norwood (Norwood, MA). The Panthers record now stands at 3-13.

With the loss, Bellingham falls to 5-11 on the campaign. The Blackhawks travel to Millis (Millis, MA) to battle the Mohawks in a Tri-Valley challenge on Monday, May 20. The Mohawks enter the challenge with a record of 7-9. Millis won 13-1 in their recent league challenge against Dover-Sherborn (Dover, MA)
