The Freeport Pretzels softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Belvidere Bucs to 8 in the Pretzels league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Freeport moves its record to 17-8 on the year. The Pretzels travel to Rockford East (Rockford, IL) to clash with the E-Rabs in a Northern Illinois NIC-9 game on Friday, May 17. The E-Rabs enter the test with a record of 0-21. Rockford East lost 10-0 in their recent league test against Belvidere (Belvidere, IL)

The Bucs (5-21) will now prepare for their test against Rockford East (Rockford, IL). The E-Rabs enter the Northern Illinois NIC-9 test with a 0-20 record. In their last test, Rockford East was routed by Jefferson (Rockford, IL), 11-0, in a league test.
