Franklin Academy Huskies (Malone, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Ogdensburg Free Academy Blue Devils (Ogdensburg, NY), 10-5 in a league challenge.

The Huskies now own a 11-3 record. They take the field next when they host Canton for a Section 10 Central challenge on Friday, May 17. Franklin Academy will battle a Golden Bears squad coming off a 16-1 league win over Potsdam (Potsdam, NY). The Golden Bears record now stands at 15-1.

With the loss, Ogdensburg Free Academy falls to 4-12 on the campaign. The Blue devils host Norwood-Norfolk (Norwood, NY) to battle the Flyers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 18. The Flyers enter the challenge with a record of 3-14. Norwood-Norfolk lost 10-4 in their recent league challenge against Massena (Massena, NY)
