The Martin County West Mavericks routed the visiting Granada-Huntley-East Chain/Martin Luther/Truman Jaguars softball squad by a final score of 15-1 in Wednesday's non-league battle.

The Mavericks (8-5) will now prepare for their battle against Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial (Lake Crystal, MN). The Knights go into the Valley battle with a 15-2 record. In their last battle, Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial topped Watertown-Mayer (Watertown, MN), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

The Jaguars now possess a 1-16 record. They play next when they travel to Nicollet for a non-league battle on Friday, May 17. Granada-Huntley-East Chain/Martin Luther/Truman will meet a Raiders squad coming off a 5-3 non-league win over St. Mary's (Sleepy Eye, MN). The Raiders record now stands at 6-9.
