Coming up next, the Gremlins battle the Negaunee Miners (Negaunee, MI) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, May 18. Houghton will attempt to upgrade on its 9-3 season record. The Miners enter the outing with a 12-2 record after their 5-4 non-league win over Alpena (Alpena, MI).

The Bulldogs (12-2) will now prepare for their outing against Westwood (Ishpeming, MI). The Patriots enter the Western Peninsula outing with a 2-11 record. In their last outing, Westwood was routed by Lake Linden-Hubbell (Lake Linden, MI), 5-1, in a non-league outing.
