Jefferson J-Hawks (Rockford, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Rockford East E-Rabs (Rockford, IL), 11-0 in a league challenge.

The J-Hawks now own a 7-15 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rockford Auburn for a Northern Illinois NIC-9 challenge on Friday, May 17. Jefferson will battle a Knights squad coming off a 11-0 league win over Boylan Catholic (Rockford, IL). The Knights record now stands at 14-12.

With the loss, Rockford East falls to 0-20 on the campaign. The E-rabs travel to Belvidere (Belvidere, IL) to battle the Bucs in a Northern Illinois NIC-9 challenge on Thursday, May 16. The Bucs come into the game with a record of 5-21. Belvidere lost 12-8 in their recent league game against Freeport (Freeport, IL)
