The Robbinsdale Cooper Hawks (New Hope, MN) softball routed the visiting Johnson Governors (St. Paul, MN), 16-1 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Hawks (3-11) will now prepare for their bout against Robbinsdale Armstrong (Plymouth, MN). The Falcons go into the non-league bout with a 10-10 record. In their last bout, Robbinsdale Armstrong was routed by Academy of Holy Angels (Richfield, MN), 14-6, in a non-league bout.
The Governors now possess a 1-12 record. They play next when they travel to Como Park for a St. Paul City bout on Friday, May 17. Johnson will confront a Cougars squad coming off a 14-3 league loss to Humboldt (St. Paul, MN). The Cougars record now stands at 6-9.
