The crowd at Thursday's league battle between the George Stevens Academy Eagles (Blue Hill, ME) and the host Central Red Devils (East Corinth, ME), saw George Stevens Academy's baseball team gain a win over Central by a tally of 11-5.

The Eagles (3-8) will now prepare for their battle against Lee Academy (Lee, ME). The Pandas enter the non-league battle with a 5-3 record. In their last battle, Lee Academy was overwhelmed by Narraguagus (Harrington, ME), 13-11, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Red Devils face the Maine Central Institute Huskies (Pittsfield, ME) in a Class C North battle, on Monday, May 19. Central will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Huskies enter the battle with a 1-7 record after their 8-0 non-league loss to Winthrop (Winthrop, ME).
