The Lester Prairie Bulldogs baseball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop Thunderbirds to 1 in the Bulldogs non-league win on Thursday.

The Bulldogs now hold a 5-12 record. They take the field next when they host Legacy Christian Academy for a Minnesota Christian test on Thursday, May 15. Lester Prairie will play a Lions team coming off a 10-2 league loss to Spectrum (Elk River, MN). The Lions record now stands at 11-5.

With the defeat, Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop drops to 6-14 on the year. The Thunderbirds travel to B O L D (Olivia, MN) to play the Warriors in a non-league test on Monday, May 19. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 5-14. B O L D lost 8-2 in their recent league test against Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta (Morris, MN)
