In Thursday's non-league bout, the Matawan Regional Huskies (Aberdeen, NJ) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Long Branch Green Wave (Long Branch, NJ), by a score of 12-1.
Next up, the Huskies encounter the Manchester Township Hawks (Lakehurst, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Friday, May 16. Matawan Regional will attempt to advance on its 3-14 season record. The Hawks enter the bout with a 5-17 record after their 8-5 non-league loss to Shore Regional (West Long Branch, NJ).
The Green Wave (7-12) will now prepare for their bout against Monmouth Regional (Tinton Falls, NJ). The Falcons enter the non-league bout with a 9-10 record.
