In Thursday's league game, the visiting Verona Wildcats baseball team scored a close 4-3 win over the Madison La Follette Lancers.

The Wildcats (14-7) will now prepare for their game against Oregon (Oregon, WI). The Panthers go into the non-league game with a 11-9 record. In their last game, Oregon nudged Milton (Milton, WI), 7-5, in a league game.
