The Niles North Vikings baseball team scored 17 runs and held the visiting Maine East Blue Demons to 2 in the Vikings league win on Thursday.

The Vikings now own a 14-16 record. They take the field next when they host Glenbrook North for a non-league test on Monday, May 19. Niles North will clash with a Spartans team coming off a 14-10 non-league loss to Mundelein (Mundelein, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 18-14.
