Connecticut High School Baseball - Notre Dame Prep edges Stamford

The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Notre Dame Prep Lancers (Fairfield, CT) and the host Stamford Black Knights (Stamford, CT), saw Notre Dame Prep's baseball team gain a win over Stamford by a tally of 5-3.

The Lancers (13-19) will now prepare for their battle against Brookfield (Brookfield, CT). The Bobcats enter the Southwest battle with a 16-1 record. In their last battle, Brookfield held off New Fairfield (New Fairfield, CT), 6-3, in a league battle.

Next, the Black Knights face the Norwalk Bears (Norwalk, CT) in a Fairfield County battle, on Friday, May 16. Stamford will attempt to upgrade on its 13-7 season record. The Bears enter the battle with a 19-1 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Notre Dame Prep (Fairfield, CT).
