New York High School Baseball - Sweet Home sneaks past Williamsville South

May 15, 2025: Amherst, NY 14228

The crowd at Thursday's league battle between the Sweet Home Panthers (Amherst, NY) and the visiting Williamsville South Billies (Williamsville, NY), saw Sweet Home's baseball team get by Williamsville South by a tally of 5-4.

The Panthers (7-7) will now prepare for their battle against Amherst Central (Amherst, NY). The Tigers enter the ECIC II battle with a 5-5 record. In their last battle, Amherst Central held off Starpoint (Lockport, NY), 8-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Billies face the St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute Marauders (Buffalo, NY) in a non-league battle, on Friday, May 16. Williamsville South will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record. The Marauders enter the battle with a 7-9 record after their 15-0 league loss to Canisius (Buffalo, NY).
