The St. Francis Spartans volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting St. Rita Mustangs to 0 in the Spartans league triumph on Thursday.

The Spartans now have a 13-20 record. They play next when they travel to Brother Rice for a Chicago Catholic - Blue outing on Friday, May 16. St. Francis will play a Crusaders team coming off a 2-0 league win over Loyola Academy (Wilmette, IL). The Crusaders record now stands at 27-6.

With the loss, St. Rita drops to 8-21 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Saint Ignatius College Prep (Chicago, IL) to play the Wolfpack in a Chicago Catholic - Blue outing on Tuesday, May 20. The Wolfpack come into the outing with a record of 7-25. Saint Ignatius College Prep lost 2-0 in their recent league outing against Loyola Academy (Wilmette, IL)
