In Thursday's non-league test, the Newark Academy Minutemen (Livingston, NJ) lacrosse team overwhelmed the visiting Gill St. Bernard's Knights (Gladstone, NJ), by a count of 14-6.

Next up, the Minutemen battle the Dayton Bulldogs (Springfield, NJ) in a non-league test, on Saturday, May 17. Newark Academy will attempt to move on its 13-5 season record. The Bulldogs enter the test with a 6-9 record after their 8-5 non-league loss to Lenape Valley (Stanhope, NJ).

The Knights (3-11) will now prepare for their test against West Orange (West Orange, NJ). The Mountaineers enter the non-league test with a 10-5 record. In their last test, West Orange was overwhelmed by Villa Walsh Academy (Morristown, NJ), 14-12, in a non-league test.
