The Eagles (17-2) will now prepare for their battle against Blue Springs (Blue Springs, MO). The Wildcats enter the Class 4 District 6 battle with a 4-15 record. In their last battle, Blue Springs tipped Raymore-Peculiar (Peculiar, MO), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Patriots confront the Lee's Summit Tigers (Lee's Summit, MO) in a Class 4 District 7 battle, on Monday, May 19. Truman will attempt to improve on its 9-12 season record. The Tigers enter the battle with a 4-12 record after their 5-2 non-league win over Staley (Kansas City, MO).
