Fans at Thursday's league battle between the Goochland Bulldogs (Goochland, VA) and the visiting Orange County Fighting Hornets (Orange, VA), saw Goochland's soccer squad hold off Orange County by a count of 1-0.

The Bulldogs (3-9) will now prepare for their battle against Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA). The Flying Flucos enter the Jefferson battle with a 8-5 record. In their last battle, Fluvanna County tipped Louisa County (Mineral, VA), 4-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Fighting Hornets confront the Monticello Mustangs (Charlottesville, VA) in a Jefferson battle, on Monday, May 19. Orange County will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record. The Mustangs enter the battle with a 8-5 record after their 1-0 league loss to Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA).
