The Blazer Tomcats softball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Greenup County Musketeers to 0 in the Tomcats non-league win on Thursday.

The Tomcats now sport a 15-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rowan County for a non-league battle on Friday, May 16. Blazer will confront a Vikings team coming off a 1-0 non-league win over East Carter (Grayson, KY). The Vikings record now stands at 23-6.

With the loss, Greenup County moves to 22-6 on the season. The Musketeers host Bath County (Owingsville, KY) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league battle on Saturday, May 17. The Wildcats come into the battle with a record of 20-7. Bath County won 12-2 in their recent non-league battle against West Jessamine (Nicholasville, KY)
