Pennsylvania High School Softball - Burgettstown succumbs to Neshannock

In Thursday's non-league battle, the Neshannock Lancers (New Castle, PA) softball team routed the visiting Burgettstown Blue Devils (Burgettstown, PA), by a margin of 15-0.

The Lancers now sport a 19-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Apollo Ridge for a non-league battle on Monday, May 19. Neshannock will confront a Vikings team coming off a 9-8 non-league win over Our Lady of the Sacred Heart (Coraopolis, PA). The Vikings record now stands at 11-4.

With the loss, Burgettstown moves to 8-9 on the season.

This game is a part of the 2025 WPIAL Softball Championship (Pennsylvania) - Class 2A tournament
