Michigan High School Softball - Carlson bounces Taylor

The Carlson Marauders softball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Taylor Griffins to 6 in the Marauders league win on Thursday.

The Marauders now sport a 17-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Huron for a non-league battle on Tuesday, May 20. Carlson will confront a Chiefs team coming off a 12-0 league win over Grosse Ile (Grosse Ile, MI). The Chiefs record now stands at 7-11.

With the loss, Taylor moves to 7-12 on the season. The Griffins travel to Riverview (Riverview, MI) to confront the Pirates in a non-league battle on Friday, May 16. The Pirates come into the battle with a record of 19-7. Riverview lost 4-1 in their recent league battle against St. Mary Catholic Central (Monroe, MI)
