Next, the Eskymos meet the Walled Lake Central Vikings (Walled Lake, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, May 17. Escanaba will attempt to upgrade on its 18-2 season record. The Vikings enter the challenge with a 12-11 record after their 17-2 league loss to Walled Lake Northern (Commerce, MI).

The Miners (9-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Houghton (Houghton, MI). The Gremlins enter the non-league challenge with a 9-9 record. In their last challenge, Houghton overcame Lake Linden-Hubbell (Lake Linden, MI), 13-9, in a non-league challenge.
