Ohio High School Softball - Fostoria succumbs to Lake

May 15, 2025: Fostoria, OH 44830

In Thursday's league test, the Lake Flyers (Millbury, OH) softball squad overwhelmed the host Fostoria Redmen (Fostoria, OH), by a tally of 16-0.

Next, the Flyers clash with the Otsego Knights (Tontogany, OH) in a Northern Buckeye test, on Friday, May 16. Lake will attempt to advance on its 21-2 season record. The Knights go into the test with a 12-6 record after their 5-1 non-league win over Archbold (Archbold, OH).

The Redmen (2-19) will now prepare for their test against Genoa Area (Genoa, OH). The Comets go into the Northern Buckeye test with a 5-13 record. In their last test, Genoa Area prevailed over Bellevue (Bellevue, OH), 7-1, in a non-league test.
