The Jenison Wildcats (Jenison, MI) softball nipped the visiting Reeths-Puffer Rockets (Muskegon, MI), 3-2 in Thursday's non-league outing.
The Wildcats now sport a 15-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Zeeland West for a non-league outing on Saturday, May 17. Jenison will encounter a Dux team coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to Lowell (Lowell, MI). The Dux record now stands at 14-8.
With the loss, Reeths-Puffer moves to 7-4 on the season. The Rockets travel to Linden (Linden, MI) to encounter the Eagles in a non-league outing on Friday, May 16. The Eagles come into the outing with a record of 24-3. Linden lost 9-8 in their recent league outing against Fenton (Fenton, MI)
