Jonesport-Beals Royals (Jonesport, ME) supporters left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Woodland Dragons (Baileyville, ME), 4-3 in a league game.

With the triumph, Jonesport-Beals improves its record to 5-2 on the year. The Royals travel to Shead (Eastport, ME) to play the Tigers in a Class D North game on Saturday, May 24. The Tigers enter the game with a record of 1-6.

The Dragons now hold a 2-7 record. They play next when they travel to Penobscot Valley for a Class D North game on Wednesday, May 21.
