Rhode Island High School Softball - La Salle Academy sneaks past Pilgrim

The La Salle Academy Rams softball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting Pilgrim Patriots to 6 in the Rams league win on Thursday.

The Rams now possess a 19-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Taunton for a non-league battle on Saturday, May 17. La Salle Academy will confront a Tigers team coming off a 17-0 non-league win over Sharon (Sharon, MA). The Tigers record now stands at 15-0.

With the loss, Pilgrim moves to 15-2 on the season. The Patriots travel to Cranston West (Cranston, RI) to confront the Falcons in a Division 1 battle on Monday, May 19. The Falcons come into the battle with a record of 10-6.
