The North Yarmouth Academy Panthers overwhelmed the visiting Old Orchard Beach Seagulls softball squad by a count of 10-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Panthers meet the Maine Central Institute Huskies (Pittsfield, ME) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, May 16. North Yarmouth Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 8-0 season record. The Huskies go into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 7-1 non-league loss to Monmouth Academy (Monmouth, ME).
The Seagulls (0-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Richmond (Richmond, ME). The Bobcats go into the non-league challenge with a 4-5 record. In their last challenge, Richmond was routed by North Yarmouth Academy (Yarmouth, ME), 10-2, in a league challenge.
