Switzerland County Pacers (Vevay, IN) supporters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Oldenburg Academy Twisters (Oldenburg, IN), 18-15 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Switzerland County improves its record to 2-12 on the year. The Pacers host Jac-Cen-Del (Osgood, IN) to play the Eagles in a Ohio River Valley game on Saturday, May 17. The Eagles enter the game with a record of 0-14. Jac-Cen-Del lost 8-7 in their recent league game against South Ripley (Versailles, IN)

The Twisters now hold a 4-8 record. They play next when they travel to South Ripley for a non-league game on Wednesday, May 21.
