The Valley Oaks CES Vanguards triumphed over the visiting Valor Academy softball squad by a count of 22-12 in Thursday's league challenge.

Next, the Vanguards play the Jordan Bulldogs (Los Angeles, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, May 19. Valley Oaks CES will attempt to upgrade on its 3-11 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 7-7 record after their 1-0 league win over University Pathways Public Service Academy (Los Angeles, CA).

The (3-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Animo Robinson (Los Angeles, CA). The Monarchs enter the non-league challenge with a 4-11 record. In their last challenge, Animo Robinson was routed by Stella High Charter Academy (Los Angeles, CA), 27-16, in a league challenge.
