The James River Knights baseball squad (Buchanan, VA), 9-7 in Friday's league contest with the host Patrick County Cougars (Stuart, VA)

With the triumph, Patrick County moves its record to 10-6 on the season. The Cougars travel to Glenvar (Salem, VA) to confront the Highlanders in a Three Rivers contest on Wednesday, May 20. The Highlanders come into the contest with a record of 13-5.

The Knights now possess a 12-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carroll County for a Three Rivers challenge on Wednesday, May 20.
