The Logansport Berries baseball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Lafayette Central Catholic Knights to 5 in the Berries non-league win on Friday.

The Berries now hold a 14-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to McCutcheon for a non-league test on Saturday, May 16. Logansport will play a Mavericks team coming off a 14-0 non-league win over Hamilton Heights (Arcadia, IN). The Mavericks record now stands at 14-7.

With the defeat, Lafayette Central Catholic drops to 16-6 on the year. The Knights travel to Indianapolis Scecina Memorial (Indianapolis, IN) to play the Crusaders in a non-league test on Saturday, May 16. The Crusaders go into the test with a record of 8-11. Indianapolis Scecina Memorial won 9-5 in their recent non-league test against Triton Central (Fairland, IN)
