The Bernards Mountaineers (Bernardsville, NJ) softball routed the host Ridge Red Devil (Basking Ridge, NJ), 7-2 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Mountaineers now sport a 10-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Montgomery for a non-league outing on Saturday, May 16. Bernards will encounter a Cougars team coming off a 14-3 non-league win over Rahway (Rahway, NJ). The Cougars record now stands at 13-12.

With the loss, Ridge moves to 9-9 on the season. The Red devil travel to Brearley (Kenilworth, NJ) to encounter the Bears in a non-league outing on Saturday, May 16. The Bears come into the outing with a record of 16-5. Brearley lost 4-0 in their recent league outing against Summit (Summit, NJ)
