In Friday's non-league test, the Brookline Warriors (Brookline, MA) softball squad got by the visiting O'Bryant Tigers (Roxbury, MA), by a count of 9-8.
Next, the Warriors meet the Newton North Tigers (Newtonville, MA) in a Bay State - Carey test, on Monday, May 18. Brookline will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record.
The Tigers (5-9) will now prepare for their test against Ursuline Academy (Dedham, MA). The Bears go into the non-league test with a 8-5 record. In their last test, Ursuline Academy held off Boston Latin (Boston, MA), 6-4, in a non-league test.
