Ohio High School Softball - South Central knocked off by Mapleton

The Mapleton Mounties overwhelmed the host South Central Trojans softball squad by a count of 13-1 in Friday's league challenge.

Next, the Mounties meet the LaBrae Vikings (Leavittsburg, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, May 18. Mapleton will attempt to upgrade on its 22-3 season record. The Vikings go into the challenge with a 18-7 record after their 9-6 non-league win over Hubbard (Hubbard, OH).

The Trojans (7-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Wynford (Bucyrus, OH). The Royals go into the non-league challenge with a 8-12 record. In their last challenge, Wynford was routed by Upper Sandusky (Upper Sandusky, OH), 15-4, in a league challenge.
