In Monday's non-league game, the host Archbishop Spalding Cavaliers baseball team scored a tight 1-0 victory over the John Carroll Patriots.
The Cavaliers (25-4) will now prepare for their game against Calvert Hall (Baltimore, MD). The Cardinals go into the non-league game with a 21-7 record. In their last game, Calvert Hall tipped Archbishop Curley (Baltimore, MD), 11-6, in a non-league game.
