In Monday's non-league game, the host Assumption Knights baseball team scored a tight 6-5 victory over the Moline Maroons.
The Knights (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Regina (Iowa City, IA). The Regals go into the non-league game with a 0-0 record.
The Maroons (21-10) will now prepare for their game against Normal University (Normal, IL). The Pioneers go into the non-league game with a 25-6 record. In their last game, Normal University tipped Metamora (Metamora, IL), 13-5, in a non-league game.
