The Durfee Hilltoppers baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting New Bedford Whalers to 4 in the Hilltoppers league victory on Monday.
The Hilltoppers (11-10) will now prepare for their match against Bridgewater-Raynham (Bridgewater, MA). The Trojans go into the non-league match with a 14-5 record. In their last match, Bridgewater-Raynham gained a win over Dartmouth (South Dartmouth, MA), 6-2, in a league match.
The Whalers (4-10) will now prepare for their match against Brockton (Brockton, MA). The Boxers go into the non-league match with a 4-10 record. In their last match, Brockton was overwhelmed by Braintree (Braintree, MA), 13-0, in a non-league challenge.
