With the win, Patrick County upgrades its record to 17-5 on the season.

With the defeat, Martinsville falls to 5-16 on the season. The Bulldogs host Dan River (Ringgold, VA) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league test on Tuesday, May 17. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 8-8. Dan River lost 13-6 in their recent league test against William Campbell (Naruna, VA)
